Alisha was born in Florida on July 14, 1989. The first time she was in a role as an actor came in 2008 with the film Murder on Her Mind. After pursuing acting full time since 2010, she was offered her very first movie role, Just Before I Go in the year 2014. She has also appeared in one episode of the television shows Criminal Minds, Married and Married. The family was from Dallas, Texas with her siblings as well as her parents. Holland Roden studied from Hockaday School which was a girl's' private school. Her family is comprised of medical professionals who all studied molecular biology and the study of women at UCLA. Holland Roden spent a few years studying medical pre-clinical because she hoped to become the cardiothoracic surgeon. Later, she decided to go into acting. Also, she played characters who were one-time in TV shows such as Major Crimes, Switched at Birth as well as Major Crimes. The next time she appeared on screen was as Nurse Kelsey in 2 episodes of General Hospital. She also appeared in the role of Maia Roberts for the Freeform TV show Shadowhunters. Raising Dion was her next role. She is set to star alongside Justin Timberlake in Palmer.
