April Lockhart
April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She started the guitar and piano lessons in seventh grade. This sparked curiosity. At the age of 12, she composed her first single, Different. When April was 14 years old, she spent an enormous amount of time making song concepts and perfecting her music. Over the next few months, she began taking notes with her father to LA as well as NY. April began including other topics in her book Take My Hand to help her friends who were dealing with peer pressure, disabilities or suicide. Lockhart has her own following and also works as a lifestyle blogger at the popular Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. Her birthplace didn't come with a left-hand, which is the reason she's what she is. However, that's not the whole story. Lockhart's Instagram page doesn't overlook her handicap. But it also doesn't emphasize it. What message is it trying to convey? The message is that we are more than our physical selves. Our identities are multifaceted and encompass a variety of aspects. Lockhart stated in a video interview that she doesn't wish to be defined by her handicap. She doesn't want to be a disability advocate who only speaks about it. There are a lot of aspects of Lockhart. This doesn't interfere with my life. All is well and I've learned how to adjust. However, I also consider it a very important component of my life. Lockhart has been a great example to other women with regards to acceptance of oneself. However, she admits that she has had periods of feeling uneasy about her appearance and wearing clothing which displayed her arms. It's her choice to wear what she'd like, and proudly shares photos of her wearing these clothes. Self-love, according to her, is a process. "I don't think you'll be there," she said. It's the same for everybody regardless of how much they are afraid. I think it is important to be surrounded by those who are able to understand your.
