Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was first to achieve a perfect 10 in an Olympic occasion. Bela Karrolyi who was the Romanian gymnastics instructor who became Comaneci's coach later in life, discovered her at age six. She took part in the Romanian Junior Championships and placed 13th. She won in 1970. She took home three golds at her first competition, a junior pre-Olympic meet in 1972 for the communist bloc nations. The following year, 1973 as well as 1974, she became the junior champion in all-round competitions. She won four gold and one silver medals in her senior debut international competition which took place in the year 1975. It was the first time she competed as a senior. She took home the American Cup in New York City in 1976 becoming the first woman in history to complete a reverse double salto, which is a dismount from the uneven parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The journey of Carol Wayne in the world of entertainment began as a teenager. Along with her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined the traveling entertainment show known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 Chicago Illinois US. Carol's first job was in entertainment during her teenage year. She started her career performing figure skating with Nina Wayne, her younger sister in one of the touring entertainment programs Ice Capades. The shows were the ice skating of which was performed to music from the stage.
