Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for many years. The actress is famous for the roles she played in film and television. Her popularity is shared by the world of Canadian as well as American TV. Emily began to become interested after she watched her sister Katie performing in a film. Once she had began to realize that acting was her love, she began to take acting lessons as well as attend auditions. The first time she auditioned was with few ads and soon was included in the show Are You afraid of the Dark the Canadian horror film for children. In the show, she appeared in a single scene with any spoken dialogue. At the age of fifteen, Emily made her big breakthrough after she was made regular on the WB Television series Glory Days. Emily's appearance on Glory Days, a show on WB that was cancelled after nine episodes, attracted the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was also a dancer as well as a photographer. Teen once named her among the best actors under the age of twenty. Emily was listed as at number 51 in Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
